Study Area:
The “Arunhub TL2 Pegging Work” project is located across Solukhumbu, Okhaldhunga, and Khotang Districts in Nepal. This area encompasses diverse topographical features, including mountainous terrain and varying elevations. The project site is crucial for the Arunhub Transmission Line TL2, which necessitates precise and detailed pegging work to align the transmission infrastructure accurately.
Project Objectives:
– Establishment of Concrete Pillars: Concrete pillars will be erected at key locations. Rectangular concrete pillars will be placed at the center of tower locations, while cylindrical concrete pillars will be set forward and backward along the transmission line’s centerline, approximately 50 meters from each tower’s center. This setup is essential for defining and marking the precise locations for the transmission towers.
– Preparation of D-Cards: Detailed D-cards will be prepared for all tower points, as well as for forward and backward points along the transmission line. These cards will document the exact coordinates and characteristics of each point, ensuring accurate recording and validation of the pegging work.
Deliverables:
– Contour Maps: Detailed contour maps will be generated to show the elevation changes and topographical features across the project area. These maps are essential for understanding the terrain and planning the placement of concrete pillars and towers.
– Point Data in CSV Format: All data related to the pillar locations and D-card points will be compiled and provided in CSV format. This data will include precise coordinates and other relevant information, facilitating easy integration with GIS systems and further analysis.
– Topographical Maps: Comprehensive topographical maps will be produced to offer an overview of the terrain and the positions of the concrete pillars and transmission towers. These maps will support effective planning and implementation of the transmission line project.
The Arunhub TL2 Pegging Work project will ensure accurate marking and documentation of tower locations, which is critical for the successful installation and alignment of the transmission line infrastructure. The deliverables will provide essential data and documentation for the project’s planning and execution phases.
